Skin Cancer Check Day in Annapolis

Description

The Maryland Dermatologic Society (MDS) partners with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) to host free, public skin cancer checks and awareness in Annapolis during the Maryland General Assembly Session. 

Dermatologists volunteer to perform targeted visual skin checks and educate the public about early detection and warning signs. Alongside clinical checks, past collaborative events have also supported local advocacy efforts, such as legislation to restrict minors' use of indoor tanning beds in Maryland.
